This role opened up the opportunity to begin mentoring newer members of the team. Within the AI department, I funneled my efforts into building and scaling services that incorporated machine learning models and large language models. This included developing AI-driven applications for real-time data processing, optimizing APIs for business tasks, and integrating LLMs into conversational AI services, ensuring scalable AI services with strong deployment pipelines.

I contributed to a post-analytic Fraud Detection system and its evolution to microservices, a Data Catalog project with graph databases, and DataHub for data governance. I helped rearchitect a real-time URL Analysis system with Kotlin and Redis, improving performance by 3x, and worked on a real-time Spam Detection System using microservices.

I was responsible for researching the company's data structures and values, selecting data storage solutions, designing and developing Data Warehouse architecture with Cassandra, developing ETL processes using Java and Spark, and performing ad-hoc data extractions, enrichments, and transformations.

In my role, I was responsible for administering Java applications on Linux, managing databases (primarily PostgreSQL), developing workflow automation applications using Java, communicating with B2B clients, monitoring systems, and investigating and resolving technical issues.
